On September 9, 2025, the Ambit Group's CX team, led by Mathieu Schmidhauser, invited customers to the “CX Spotlight – Customer Stories & Insights from the Dynamics 365 World” event at Zurich's Hallenstadion. The legendary venue – itself a customer of the Ambit Group – provided the perfect setting for an afternoon full of inspiration, exchange, and insights into successful digitization projects.

Welcome & Inspiration

After a welcome address by Christian Schipp (CBDO & Partner, Ambit Group), the central theme of the event was presented: customer experience is not optional, but rather the core of sustainable business success. Technology and empathy complement each other to create genuine customer relationships.

B2B marketing as a driver of digital transformation

 

Dirk Miller, VP Corporate Marketing Excellence, WIKA

He impressively demonstrated how the global leader in measurement technology has transformed its marketing and sales processes:

  • Digitalization with a focus on customer experiences: 80% of customer interactions already take place digitally.
  • Customer journey as a success factor: Outstanding experiences at every touchpoint are crucial.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE as a platform: With Customer Insights Journeys and Sales, a global rollout has been implemented – now in over 26 countries, with more to follow step by step.
  • Cultural change and mindset: Digitalization is not a tool project, but requires investment in people, processes, and data quality.

His conclusion: Marketing is a key driver of digital transformation in B2B – platforms, processes, and people must work together.

He took participants on a journey with an SME into the smart future with Dynamics 365 CE:

  • “Think big, start small”: With a pragmatic approach, the introduction of Dynamics 365 was implemented step by step. Often, too big steps are taken. Experience shows that acceptance increases and solutions improve when projects are not made too big.
  • Real-world challenges: Poor data quality, outdated tools, or interface problems – and how to solve them through standardization, clean processes, and user participation.
  • Experiences of an SME: It is crucial to involve users at an early stage, set up clean interfaces, and consistently ensure data quality.

The presentation encouraged the audience that even medium-sized companies with a clear vision and small steps can successfully master their digital transformation.

Guided tour of the Hallenstadion

A special highlight was the exclusive guided tour of the Hallenstadion. Guests were given exciting insights into Switzerland's largest concert and event hall – a place steeped in history, emotion, and plans for the future. Finally, Lukas and Philemon demonstrated specific use cases for Microsoft Copilot in Dynamics 365 CE:

  • Customer Service: Automated knowledge base articles and intelligent support increase the efficiency of service teams.
  • Customer Insights: AI-supported creation of journeys, segmentations, and campaigns—directly in natural language.
  • Sales: From personalized emails and meeting preparation to real-time insights into customer conversations, Copilot becomes a daily companion for sales teams.

The examples clearly showed that AI in Dynamics 365 CE is not a future scenario, but is already creating tangible added value today.
