Schweizer Berghilfe opts for the Microsoft platform and the Ambit Group for the implementation of its digital transformation. In a comprehensive tool evaluation, the Microsoft platform for business applications (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365) proved to be a strong basis for the various digitalisation subprojects and gradual scaling. With its solution concept, the Ambit NPO Foundation and its consulting experience in the areas of non-profit and custom digitalisation, the Ambit Group offers the right expertise for this comprehensive project. The kick-off of the overall "Anavon" project took place in September 2024. The name says it all, as "Anavon" is Rhaeto-Romanic and means "forwards" or "forward" in Switzerland's fourth national language.
Swiss Mountain Aid embarks on a digitalisation journey with the "Anavon" project with the Ambit Group
Independent non-profit organisation for the future of Swiss mountain regions
Swiss Mountain Aid is a foundation financed exclusively by donations with the aim of improving livelihoods and living conditions in the Swiss mountain region. Berghilfe supports projects that create jobs and added value in mountain regions. In this way, it counteracts emigration and ensures that the mountain regions remain vibrant in the future.
Introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
The project focuses on classic NPO topics relating to donations and the typical Berghilfe review and approval of project applications. "Anavon" involves comprehensive process, data and technology changes and is a platform project. Marketing and financial aspects, including the accounting of incoming and outgoing payments, also play a central role.
Why did Swiss Mountain Aid decide in favour of the Ambit Group?

"Schweizer Berghilfe was not looking for another vertical industry solution, but wanted to take advantage of standard products that were already being used successfully around the world, which led to the fundamental architectural decision in favour of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
At the same time, it is essential to be able to work with an integration partner that not only "knows software", but also understands the Swiss NPO market. During the tender process, the Ambit Group was able to convince us: technically, methodically, but also personally. We are looking forward to the joint project."
