In March 2023, Microsoft introduced Dynamics 365 Copilot. An innovative tool available in both CRM and ERP applications. Copilot is not just another tool in Microsoft's lineup, but a game-changer. It breaks down data silos, turns insights into actions, and gives companies a new reason to use the cloud.
What is Copilot? Simply put, Copilot is a personal assistant based on the latest Artificial Intelligence. It is designed to help in almost any business area and make tasks more efficient and faster. This allows employees to focus on the tasks that really matter. And although Copilot has only been available for five months, it has already shown how valuable it can be. This is just the beginning of the journey of AI in Dynamics 365.
Designed specifically for salespeople, Sales Copilot offers a variety of features that revolutionize the sales process. From integrating with popular tools like Outlook and Microsoft Teams to automating CRM tasks, Sales Copilot is designed to help salespeople be more productive and build better relationships with their customers.
To get a more in-depth understanding of Copilot, the following are three basic features that can go a long way in making your day-to-day work easier; they represent just a small part of what's possible.
Real-time recommendations: Dynamics Copilot continuously analyzes the sales process and, based on current data and trends, makes recommendations. This can be, for example, a recommendation on choosing the best time to contact a potential customer, or deciding which products best fit a customer's needs.
Interactive prompts: In complex sales scenarios, the system can guide the sales rep through the process by asking questions or making suggestions to ensure that no important steps are overlooked.
Intelligent interaction capture: Instead of the sales rep having to manually enter each email or call into the system, Dynamics Copilot can automatically detect and log these interactions in the CRM system.

To enable Copilot in Dynamics 365 Marketing and Customer Insights, you do not need any additional licenses. However, you must have a valid license for Dynamics 365 Marketing or Customer Insights to access Copilot features.
