CRM Workation 2026: align. act. achieve.

Sometimes you need a break from the daily grind to grow closer again. From 24 to 29 August, the Ambit Group’s CRM team gathered at The Campus Alps in the Gesäuse National Park for the CRM Workation Week 2026 – surrounded by mountains and a setting that clears the mind for what is often neglected in day-to-day business: genuine conversations, shared purpose and time for one another.

Under the motto ‘align. act. achieve.’, we made a conscious effort to pause, shift our perspective and work on how we can collaborate even more effectively across locations, national borders and departments.

Working where direction takes shape

For us, a ‘workation’ doesn’t mean taking a break from client work, but rather focusing on work in a new environment. In working groups and strategy sessions, we worked on client and internal issues, clarified outstanding questions and discussed ongoing sounding boards. This exchange opens up new perspectives and allows solutions to take shape – something we don’t have time for in our day-to-day business.

AI, direction and looking ahead

A major topic this week was the impact of artificial intelligence on several levels: for our clients, for our consultancy and for our solution development, and for each and every one of us personally. We discussed how we, as a team, can respond to these changes more quickly and confidently, which new opportunities they open up for us, and which forward-looking services we can develop from this to create real value for our clients in the future.

Exercise, enjoyment and community

For us, a 'workation' always involves finding a balance to mental work. During a circular walk through the Styrian mountain scenery, conversations arose that would never have taken place in the office. Whether it's a running group, playing games together or simply enjoying good food, this blend of hard work and light-heartedness turns colleagues into a team that can rely on one another, even when everyday work is spread across countries.
