The Ambit Group clearly prevailed over its competitors in an extensive selection process. The Microsoft platform is to be introduced in the companies in Switzerland (headquarters), Malaysia, China and Canada.

Introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with support from the ecosystem
With the automotive solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 from Eviden, Bomatec's high process requirements can already be mapped as standard and the EDI mapping standardized. The DocuWare DMS system, for which our long-standing partner Ricoh will be responsible, will be used for audit-proof archiving in accordance with the GeBüV (Swiss Business Records Ordinance).
Duration of the implementation Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO
The introduction of Dynamics 365 in the Bomatec companies in Switzerland, China and Canada will take around 17 months. The subsequent rollout to Malaysia will take place around four months after the go-live of the first three companies. Ambit Asia Pacific in Singapore will play a central role in the implementation in Malaysia and will be responsible for the introduction of production in coordination with Ambit Switzerland.

The project goal with the Microsoft platform
For Bomatec, the use of a uniform platform that maps all processes with uniform master data and includes the country localizations in the standard is a mandatory project objective.
