How does Ambit support CRM and ERP implementations?

Ambit guides companies and organizations through all process phases – from inception to implementation and ongoing operations – using a structured and proven methodology. What does a typical CRM project with Ambit look like?

A typical CRM project at Ambit follows four phases:

  1. Discover – We understand the customer and their starting point, clarifying the “WHAT” of the project, with a focus on processes and content.
  2. Design – The blueprint of the future solution is created, including elements such as architecture, interfaces, migration, and data models.
  3. Engage – The jointly developed solution is implemented in agile sprints.
  4. Empower – In the final phase, the solution is tested integratively, end users are trained, and the go-live is prepared.

After go-live, the solution moves into ongoing operations, and depending on needs, further subprojects and optimization phases may follow.

A CRM project with Ambit begins with a clear vision: we understand the requirements and translate them into a future-ready solution for marketing, sales, service, and field service. With agile methodology, transparency, and genuine partnership, we create lasting value from the very first workshop through to go-live.

What does a typical ERP project with Ambit look like?

We bring not only methodological expertise and system knowledge, but also take responsibility – for budgets, timelines, and results. In complex organizations, we keep the big picture in mind, make decisions when it matters most, and deliver when it counts. While others are still maneuvering in the group stage, we’re already in the quarter-finals – with the goal clearly in sight: a clean, stable, and sustainable go-live.

"ERP implementations are not IT projects. They are a turning point. Done right, they rebuild a company’s future from the inside out. It’s the Champions League of change. That’s exactly where we feel at home."

– Andreas Huber, Head of Business Unit Wholesale

What is the Microsoft Power Platform?

For the Ambit Group, the Microsoft Power Platform is a key building block for supporting customers well beyond standard CRM and ERP processes.

It enables the rapid and cost-efficient digitization of individual business processes – using low-code/no-code approaches that directly involve business departments. Through seamless integration with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Azure, we create scalable, connected solutions that link data, processes, and people.

For our customers, this means greater agility, faster innovation, and measurable efficiency gains.

The Power Platform is therefore a major driver of innovation and a competitive advantage in the Ambit Group’s digitalization strategy for its end customers.

What does Ambit mean by XRM or “Customer Digitalization”?

In XRM, the “X” stands for “anything” or “anything relationship management” – meaning an extension of the classic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to a flexible platform approach that can map not only customer relationships but practically any kind of relationships and processes. Ambit uses XRM as an extension of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to create customized, industry-specific solutions that go beyond traditional customer management.

How does Ambit support the digitalization of individual business models (XRM)?

With our Custom Digitalization offering, we enable the custom development of software for specific process areas using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 framework. This reduces customer dependency, leverages no-code & low-code development, and provides a freely scalable platform. As a result, development times are significantly reduced.

Does Ambit also offer support and further development?

Yes. If you would like to arrange a consultation, you are welcome to book an appointment for CRM or ERP.

What sets Ambit apart from other Microsoft partners?
